The Cobos Law Firm Scholarship

It is with great pleasure that we offer the Annual Cobos Law Firm Legal Scholarship. At our law firm in Houston, TX, we believe in the power of education as well as the importance of paying it forward and giving back to our community. That is why we offer an annual scholarship to a student with an interest in law enrolled at an accredited university in the United States.

Craft an essay of no more than 1200 words detailing your commitment to helping others through the legal system. In your essay, describe how you hope to utilize the law to give back to your community.

  • Any submitted photos, videos, and essays must be the original work of the applicant.
  • Only one submission may be entered per student per year. Duplicate entries will automatically be disqualified.
  • Students must provide proof of current enrollment at an accredited university in the United States. Examples include a copy of a tuition bill or an official letter from the school.
  • All scholarships are non-renewable.

Texas’ Pro-bono College

In past years, Personal Injury Attorney – Andrew Cobos has been admitted into the State Bar of Texas’ pro-bono college. This is a recognition for attorneys who dedicate a substantial amount of time to provide legal services to individuals who could not otherwise afford such services. Pro-bono representation is one of the many ways that the Cobos Law Firm supports its mission of providing effective and aggressive legal services to its clients.
